it is difficult to distinguish between personal and professional life. What are some examples of times that this could occur? Do you think that this gives employers a legitimate reason to have access to employees” private information?
Answer)
Some important situations when an employee must be with his family at the same time in the office. For example There may be an key managerial person's kid's first birthday when on the same day he must attend a meeting abroad on an important deal. Here, he can't deny the office work and on the sameday it may have impact on his morale for the whole day for missing such birthday celebration which may also force him to resign his job if such incidents repeat often.
Here,I would say that employers must have access to employees private information so that they can postpone any important assignments if possible or assign it to other employee or even send his family with him etc so that it doesn't create any negative impression in the employees mind about his job.
