In your own words, please illustrate / explain how could we assess the overall productivity of a system. What are the main elements to be considered?

Productivity is basically the efficiency of the system or the machines available in the organization. To asses the productivity of the system one can asses the efficiency in terms of coverting the inputs to the outputs. It can be assesed as the cost of repairs and maintainance expense incurred per annum on the machinery or the system amd comparing it with the results we are getting form that system.The company or the organization needs to assess the productivity in order take certian decisions including investment

Main Elements that can be considered for assesing the overall productivity are as follows:

1. Output frm the system per input

2.labour cost on the system

3. Repair and maintainance/wear and tear exp on the machine.
