Answer #1

Assumptions of Activity-Based Costing

1. Resources (like material, labours etc) must be used or consumed by performing activities.

2. The activity mentioned in point 1 is consumed by a product or consumer

3. ABC Models focuses on consumption rather than on spending.

4. Resources consumed have numerous causes, the same is charged according to the activity mentioned above.

5. Cost pools are homogeneous, which means that each cost has only one activity.

6. Costs in each pool are variable (strictly proportional to activity).

All inferential statistics include assumptions – conditions that must be met before the results of test can be meaningfully interpreted. In addition to the assumptions of normality, homogeneity of variance and independent sampling post-hoc tests add an additional assumption. What is this assumption? (What must be true before you can do a post-hoc test with an ANOVA) Explain why this assumption is required.?

Discuss all of the assumptions Briefly what problem when they are not met How to solve it The seven classical assumptions are: I. The regression model is linear, is correctly specified, and has an additive error term II. The error term has a zero population mean III. All explanatory variables are uncorrelated with the error term IV. Observations of the error term are uncorrelated with each other (no serial correlation) V. The error term has a constant variance (no heteroskedasticity)...
