Premium = 10% of hourly rate i.e. $12.25 = $1.225 per hour for working in the evening shift

Total hours worked in the evening shift = 40 Hours

Shift Premium paid to employee this week = Total hours worked in the evening shift 40 hours * Premium Per hour $1.225

= $49
