Answer #1

In marketing, product differentiation is process of distinguishing a product or service from others, to make it more attractive to a particular target market. This involves differentiating it from competitors' products as well as a firm's own products.

Attribute based differentiation occurs in a market where the several goods that are present can be ordered according to their quality from the highest to the lowest. It's possible to say in this case that one good is "better" than another.

Information-based differentiation on other hand, by e-retailers on the Internet effects on consumer trust and product choice.

For product market, attribute based differentiation is more effective, however for services, Information based differentiation can prove to be effective
