According to Aristotle, Moderation ia a path to a virtous life. Moderation helps us to develop moral characteristics. One should practice prudence to practice modernisation. If the soul of human channel the blessings of the world by remembering the God and obey his laws, moderation will lead us to a kind and gentle world.

Aristotle also held that, instead of evil and good in a generic sense, man should consider virtues and vices and, as befitting the later Christian doctrine of the fallen state of man and the world.

According to him, moderation strives for a balance between the extremes. It can also be viewd as a tactic of negotiation between them.
