Answer #1

Competition is always useful in many ways. If our competitor is selling better quality goods, even we try to produce better quality goods. We try to achieve new positions due to competitors. So we can improve ourself by doing comparisons. We try to become better in field in which we are in. Some times we may be in stagnant position, but comparisons will make us more forward in a good way. Always competition should exist in market. But healthy competition should exist. Monopoly market is not good. Price discrimination will not exist if competition exists, so for competition to come, comparisons are very much important.
