This discussion paper will provide a contrast and comparison of antinomianism and the conflicting absolutism ethical systems. Antinomianism is considered a major ethical system which is compatible with the Christian worldview of moral regulations and laws. The basis for antinomianism arguments is the absence of binding moral laws. In addition, conflicting absolutism ethical system concludes there are binding moral laws that conflicts with each other (Harrison, 2012). In comparison, in reference to Christian worldviews, conflicting absolutism is in support when setting relevant ethical rules and guidelines. The paper will present an analysis of differences and similarities between antinomianism and the conflicting absolutism and will include the evaluation of the Christian worldview on the two ethical systems.
