Lean manufacturing is a complete system that can be used across business departments including manufacturing, production, marketing, distribution, etc.It is a systematic method for waste minimization within a manufacturing system without sacrificing productivity. However Just-in-time "JIT" is an inventory strategy companies employ to increase efficiency and decrease waste by receiving goods only as they are needed in the production process, thereby reducing inventory costs and it can be introduced as a "JIT" process under Lean manufacturing but Just In Time is the piece of the Lean method that eliminates the waste of excessive inventory.
