Answer #1

It is an unethical conduct as Enron not only ignored the proper methods of reporting system, but also it involved auditors to their own favour and get due diligence certificate. It was a conduct that led to the inquiry set up upon Enron. Thus, Enron followed unethical conduct in financial reporting and disclosure of the data to cheat the investors. It is against the general consensus of protecting the right of common investors.

Enron’s CEO should follow the strong ethical conduct to report and disclose financial data as per the IFRS and US GAAP principles. He should prepare an ethical code of conduct and it should be implemented across the organization with full management support.

My current organization follows the guidelines provided by the regulatory bodies and promotes corporate governance with high moral standards.
