Geospatial data definitely helps in analytics and gives us an competitive edge if it is properly used.It helps in cost savoling for simple example it helps us to know the shortest route for giving deliveries etc,it gives us an idea about marketing like giving offers for promotions like swiggy etc give coupons based on location etc and helps us to gain knowledge about consumer,competition etc.

Almost all the applications emerge for knowing customer like location like messenger apps share location,Uber,swiggy etc applications knows location of the customers for different purpose.

Consumer is benefitted as it makes his work easy as the cab drivers,delivery man etc can track his location.Moreover it reduces his transportation costs,he sometimes can know what he has nearby him which may be very helpful in life and death situations etc.
