Accounting Major: The accounting major is really designed to prepare students to become professional accountants, joining CPA(Certified Public Accountant) firms and passing the exam. Once people earn their CPA, they can and often do move on to other opportunities, commonly placing themselves on the track become a comptroller and then a CFO.
