It is a also known as Just in time manufacturing. It is a methodology which targeted at reduction of time within production system as well as response time from suppliers and customers. It ensures that customers demand are meet on time without any delays and according to their specifications . The main elements of just in time processing are (a) Continuous improvement, (b) Eliminating waste, (c) Set up time reduction , (d) Good house keeping , (e) Autonomation and Andon ( trouble lights).
