Either IFRS foundation constitution or its annex of qualifications for IASB board members has not specified any minimum period of or time frame for auditing experience.

Professional or technical competence is needed background or qualification.

Practical experience in the related or academic field is needed.

Independnce and integrity is needed.

Full time work with IFRS foundation is needed so has to sever working relationships with former employers.
