Homework Answers

Answer #1

Answer

Accountant's position will be considered as staff only. To justify this we will first understand basic diffrence between staff and line function. Line function is core to an organisation that is such functions are vital for running an organisation. However staff functions are those which support the fuctioning in an organisation, these are not vital but only help in smooth functioning of the core activities.

On the basis of above description it can be concluded that accountant's position is more of staff nature rather than being of line.
