The Goonies is a story about children finding a lost treasure they wish to claim as theirs and use to stop the condemnation of their parents' properties by developers. In General view, it should belong to the founder who finds the treasure. In some state, it is the law that the founder will be the owner of the treasure who found them. But some state provides them to keep as it will be the property of the government of the land and the finder will simply get a certain percentage of the value for the findings. so In normal case children owns the treasure.
Treasure drove is a treasure of gold /silver and similar valuable precious stones and articles in a lot found whose ownership is not known.
for example The Sunken Spanish Treasure Fleet (Florida, USA).
As the children tell the story to the parents they believe that they are telling truth and it didn't take by Fratellis. mikey/s father rips the foreclosure paper and now they have enough money to buy their homes.
