Answer #1

Retail theft: Retail theft is when the person allegedly takes possession or carry with him any product from the store without paying for them.

Healthcare Fraud: It is the fraud where in person gives false details of their health and file dishonest health claims in order to pocket in some money from the insurers/healthcare providers.

In my considerate opinion, healthcare fraud is more worse because:

  • Insurers recover the costs from the honest payers.
  • It gives false information of the claimant which can be hamrful for him only whenver he wants to take avail genuine help
  • It puts extra pressure on insurers to be assured of the claim which leads to suspicioun and leading to rejection of honest claims also many a times.
