1. The department that you work in recently purchased some new equipment. Today, you are able to use the new equipment for the first time. You have been told that the new equipment is similar to what you have had previously. While you are using the new equipment, it stops working and shows an error message that you have never seen before.

What are the next steps that you would take to determine the meaning of the error message and continue with your work?

Answer #1

As we have assumed that the new equipment is similar to what we have had previously, we might not even gone through the user manuals.

When the error message is displayed and we have never seen that message before, the first step which we can follow in the instant is to look at the user manual given along with the equipment. We can gain some knowledge of how to tackle the error.

Even after accessing the user manual we are unable to decode the error, we may take the help of the technicians of the vendor from whom the machine is purchased.

.

Hope this is helpful!!
