There are major issues related to customer service and retention that are faced by small businesses. Sales after service is an important issues related with customer service and retention. Small businesses have lesser number of employees and it is very difficult for them to provide sales after service facility to their customers. On the other side, large business houses have numerous call centres and customer service centres in all over country to provide sales after service.

Customer service and retention requires capital and Smallbusinesses are mainly sole proprietorship business or partnership business and it is very difficult for them to raise equity or debt capital in the market. On the other hand, large business houses are multinational companies and they can raise funds through stock market or bond market.
