1. Given the description, which type of car insurance is it. The options are either Personal Injury Protection, Collision Insurance, Comprehensive Insurance, Liability Insurance, or Underinsured/Uninsured Insurance.

a. Doesn’t matter who was at fault, if you’re in a car accident and need your injuries paid for, this insurance is there for you. However, anything beyond your injuries and it can’t help you.

b. You are hit in an accident by another driver. At the hospital, you discover the other driver doesn’t have insurance to cover your medical bills. This is when this insurance kicks in.

c. If your car was damaged in an accident, this insurance has your back. It doesn’t matter who was at fault while driving. However, if the damage came from something besides a crash, it won’t be around to help you.

ANSWERS

a. PERSONAL INJURY PROTECTION

Personal injury protection, also known as PIP coverage, is a component of auto insurance that covers medical expenses regardless of who's at fault, and often includes lost wages

b. UNDER INSURED/UNINSURED INSURANCE

The purpose of underinsured motorist coverage is to pay for your medical bills and property damages expenses in the event the at-fault driver does not carry sufficient automobile liability insurance to cover your losses.

c. COLLISION INSURANCE

Collision coverage helps pay for the cost of repairing or replacing your vehicle up to the actual cash value if it collides with another vehicle, the ground, or an object in or on the ground (such as a guard rail).
