Homework Answers

Answer #1

Trend analysis represent the trend of the net income and net revenue for % of increase or decrease in respect of base year.

For example if i do a trend analysis of x corporation for 3 year starting from 2016. Than 2016 will be base year with 100% and other years data i.e, 2017 and 2018 will be compared after restated the data as % upon the data of 2016.

This will show that how much the position and performance of X corporation change from the base year using the trend analysis.
