Suppose you are on the controller’s staff at a large company. You have suggested assigning responsibility for the company’s equipment to specific individuals. One supervisor has objected, saying it is a waste of time. Defend your suggestion to the controller and to the supervisor.

Assigning the Responsibility of the company's equipment to specific individuals who are mainly in control of the equipment will make the equipment runs smoothly as the person is solely responsible for it.

As the equipment runs smoothly with out break downs, the production or operations will not have any stoppages or idle time for other equipments.

The person responsible for a specific equipment has to learn how to fix any minor repairs or defects to the machine.So, that there will be no long idle time for repairs department to fix the repairs.

In case of any accident or defective goods are produced, we can easily identify from which equipment they are from & make the person responsible liable for the incident or defects.

Hence, I strongly recommend assigning responsibility for  company’s equipment to specific individuals.
