Answer #1

The prefrontal cortex is categorised to be the CEO of the brain, responsible for the execution of various functions such as planning, organization, and decision making. Just before puberty, the prefrontal cortex goes through a rise in production of brain cells known as neurons and connections called synapses. The research and studies reveals that before, during, and after puberty there is information which supports the fact that the brain goes through another rapid period of growth. Just before puberty, between about ages 11 in girls and 12 in boys, the brain starts to produce several brain cells again.
