Answer #1

Being unemployed is so stressful if you have dependents. There are some dependent benefits that a person can have from his unemployment payment. The amount of the benefit depends on the number of dependents a person has. This benefit is offered by some states because due to dependents, the extra cost is incurred for living such as food, rent, etc. These benefits do not pay all of the expenses but a portion of expenses can be paid through the benefits. These benefits are an exception.

The amount of benefit depends on the state in which you live. Some states offer a predetermined amount per dependent and this amount is just added to the benefit of a person. Such as some states offer a percentage of the person's employment payment and this payment is also limited to the maximum amount of benefit.
