Solution. Property tax as the name suggests is an amount levied on value of property owned by an individual such as owner's land or building. Such tax are collected by the government for investing in development and public growth. Excise tax are charged on specific goods or services by the government state or federal such as personal consumption of alcohol, fuel, etcetera.

Property tax are deducted from individual's income tax valued on such property's value. Excise tax are indirect taxes paid from final consumer's pocket, originally levied on source, and not represented directly on individual consumption and records.
