Payroll Assignment.

There is a manufacturing company that is in need of a company-wide bereavement leave policy. The company has employees in 4 provinces, namely; BC, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Yukon. Does the policy have to be the same for all provinces or can we make a policy according to where the employee's location is, meaning a different policy per province?

Company needs a companywide bereavement leave policy. If the legislature of the each province require separate policy regarding the bereavement leave, then company has to have separate policy for each province. However if there is no such restrictions, company can have centralised policy. One has to check if the legislature of each province requires certain things to be complied with, then it must be complied with.

Actually the manufacturing company needs a single policy. Hence is all provinces does not require any conditions to be satisfied regarding the bereavement policy, company can go ahead with single unified policy
