Pest is the short form of political ,economical ,social and technological fectors. Pest analysis is a good techinque to find out opportunities and threats to business like ooh (out of home) dining. There are lots of factors that can affect a business on basis of that factors a owner can take decisions according to the situation. Here i will perform illustratively pest analysis of a ooh dining place.

1. Political Factors

There are few examples of political factors such as tax policies ,tax reforms or health regulations safety guidelines which can affect a business a owner can take decision based on them .

2.Economic Factors

If inflation rate increase in the area of business it can affect the ingredients price . Menu price will go up and people can avoide food outside.

3.Social factors

There are lot of several factors that can affect business in a negative or positive way. People now are more health conscious. The prefer healthy food over junk food. There are different types of customers . It is very difficult to make every customer happy.

4. Technological factors

This is themost dynamic factor .it can impact business very rapidly. A owner can install cctv cameras operated with mobile phone. There are various types of software for transactions available in the market which can be used for purchase sale.
