Citator can be used to determine the history of a judicial descicion and how that descicion has been criticized, approved, or otherwise, commented upon in other court descions. A citator is tool which allows you to track the history of your case and the treatment of your case by subsequent courts. Citators allows you to determine if your case is still good law and it acts as a research tool allowing you to find the other cases, which sited your case.

Compare and contrast two primary sources:

1. Primary sources are the orginal materails, written at the time in question or by the individuals involed.

2. Secondary sources are those that are written about, reference, or are based on one or more primary sources.
