Answer #1

Lockheed martin company use the INDIRECT method for computing cash flows from operating activities.

it is because when i saw in annual report of lockheed martin company, cash flow statement has be made using indirect method. By starting with earning and adding back all non cash expenses as well as adjusting working capital changes.

In direct method we used to calculate cash flow directly from sales and all cash expense get deducted.

Lockheed martin company having positive operating cash flow of 6476 million for year 2017. and last year (2016) company was having operating cash flow of 5189 million.there is increase in operating cash flow in this year as compare to 2016 is (6476-5189)=1287 million
