The marketable securities includes highly liquid investments some of them are,

1) U.S treasuries and bonds.

2) Mutual funds, because Mutual funds are considered liquid since investors can sell the shares at any time and receive ther amount with in days.

3). Money market funds, it is one of the type of mutual fund that invests in low risk with low yielding investment like municipal bonds.
