Yes we should also teach our children about religious but should not teach them to believe on only self religion and to hate another's. We should teach them about our religion because it provides how to behave ethically and how to treat with out elders our religion give us guidance that how to tackle tense or complex situation.

We should teach them to respect parents/elders/teachers. In my opinion we should teach our childeren about different religion that they can understand that every religion teachs to live together and no any religion says to hate people.
