Presentation of
a general operational budget for Atlantic, Georgia Police
Department Recruitment and Retention Initiative
Program:
We find out that there is a significant shortage of staff for
Atlantic, Georgia Police department. We suggest the following
operational budget to overcome this situation:
- Suggest to ensure that the salary to the staff is increased to
the level of North Carolina police department and add a year on
increment of 5%
- Sergeants who are married and have completed more than 4 years
of active service needs to be appropriately compensated with both
monetary and non monetary benefits
- Training program with attractive internship stipend will
attract more people to apply for the recruitment
- Well defined pension policy which secures the post retirement
life of active personnel
