Master data has to be created for all kind of materials and all activities, such as ordering, receiving,stocking and so forth, need to use data from material master record, so master record is the most integrated data in the SAP system. Accounting department need price and cost information for accounting record. Information from material master record also can help with materials planning and control. For example, companies can better manage their inventory level, planned delivery time, etc.
