Homework Answers

Answer #1

Cost of goods manufactured = Beginning work in process +Total manufacturing cost for the period- ending work in process

72900 = 0+ Total manufacturing cost for the period - 15410

Total manufacturing cost for the period = 72900+15410

                    = 88310

Now ,

Total manufacturing cost for the period= Direct material used +Direct labor +manufacturing overhead

   88310 = 21560+Direct labor - 48410

88310 = 69970 + Direct labor

Direct labor = 88310 -69970

            = 18340

the amount of direct manufacturing labour costs = $ 18340
