To make password more secure it should be case sensitive, should contain one capital letters, one small letter, one numeric digit, a special character. So as to make more secure

The strenth of password also depends on the length of password and as per standard policy of password it should be between 8 to 12 digit in length.

Also there should be compulsory password change within 15 days to 30 days

Also the changed password should not be last 5 password

If these policies are followed that it will be strong password

But to make it realy strong it is necessary to make aware user abot the implication of sharing password with others.

Hence in addition to password policy there is need of staff awareness about password maintenance
