In the Summary and Interpretation of chapter 7 of the text, pages 285-286, the author presents five ideas about the relationship of technology with the organization design. How do you see these ideas reflected in your organization’s design? Were organizational design changes necessary to realize the advantages of the new technology? Recount the experience of your organization in your initial post and then make at least three comments on other students’ posts. Please link your answer to concepts from Unit 6 readings.

Technology is dynamic isn't it, it is very much important that every organisation takes advantage of technology and stay ahead in competition and also in the market. Public are always interested in new technology which will be interesting and also time saving in certain instances.

Let us take an example, which is recent and very famous that if nokia which is the leading mobile maker in the early 2010's but it didn't adopt with the changing technology of android and as a result it almost wiped out of the market. New entrants who adopted with the technology became the market leaders now.
