For the online company Amazon, discuss which variances you believe are the most important ones. Such as variances between budgeted and actual sales revenue or budgeted and actual cash in/outflows. Please share why you feel this variances is of crucial importance and how often you believe a manager should look at the reports (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly).

As you know how big the Amazon Inc is and we are nowhere providing financial suggestions to Amazon.

With a few instances we can decide on what is important to Amazon. As you can see Amazon services and sales are such that you can enjoy them only after payment of cash, no credit based payment on Amazon.

From this we can conclude that it is the varience between budgeted sales and actual sales which is important for Amazon.

And as the volume of transactions is very high it is very important to look at the reports as frequently as possible like weekly or fortnightly. (Daily would not be ideal).
