d- Involuntary taxes

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The sources of revenue for the government are mainly from individual taxpayers and involuntary taxes like payroll taxes and corporate income taxes. One of the the source of revenue for the government is also grants and transfers in most of the developing countries.intergovernmental transfers between the governments is to increase the efficiency where one of the government is in need of revenue.

Relation between the taxes paid and service provided is not the source of revenue for the government as it is an expense for the government for the service to be provided to the people with respect to the taxes they have paid.

Therefore the correct option is B i.e. direct relation between taxes paid as service provided.
