what are the 6 steps for administering pre/ post assements?

Homework Answers

Answer #1
  • Pre-assessment : This is a test that the students take before a new chapter is learned to discover what the students already know and on what topics they needed to be given more instructions on.
  • Post-assessments : This help us in assessing our own teaching, that is finding out what were communicated to the students and what were not communicated.

6 STEPS FOR ADMINISTERING PRE/ POST ASSESSMENTS

  1. Align the required outcomes (learning goals) with that of the respective board's purpose/function.
  2. Conduct direct and indirect measures of evaluation.
  3. Clearly define the benchmark set for success. That is on what basis, a student passes the assessment test.
  4. Take into account all the mathematical figures (quantitative) and analyse them. If possible the qualitative aspects too. ( as the case demands)
  5. Next, specify the improvement actions needed.
  6. Document assessment and improvement activities.
