Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words:
As discussed in the question, a co worker is suggesting to record a larger supply adjustments more than the leftover supplies. Doing this would make use of some extra supplies for the non profit organization.
But it is a matter to think whether doing such will be ethical to do. As seen from ethical point of view, it's not right to misrepresent the informations in this financial records. Rather the company would have shown its investments done in any ono profit organization which would gave been counted as it's CSR(corporate social responsibility).
Making wrong recording of adjustment made, would manipulate the financial reports. And this would mislead the organization regarding amount of supply to be provided to company for selling. Also it's not fair for the shareholders and stakeholders of the company, who would be thinking that nore and more adjustments are being done by the company which is actully not done in this huge amount. So, it can call nvey wrong information to shareholders, company as well as the stockholders.
This would also lead to decisions being taken which would not be soo well planned and appropriate as the information that company us receiving isp wrong regarding supplies adjustments.
So, it's not at right to follow what the co worker fas suggested to do as its ethically wrong and would create misstatements in financial reports leafinh to wrong decisions being taken.
