Bank Reconciliation Process under Resume :

1. Comparing the cash balance per books with the balance per bank statement . This process is done depending upon the volume of the transactions i.e. can be done weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

2. This reconciliation permits to determine whether the difference is attibutable to normal conditions ,errors,frauds. It is also a basis to adjust the books to reflect unrecorded items.

3. Preparing the bank reconciliation statement as it is a part of the cash book and required by the treasury department to reconcile cash books and bank balances for each bank type of account.

4. Common Reconcilition items :
