Organization structure refers to the chain of command within the organization. Organization structure identifies the accountability and responsibility relationship among the various departments as well as within the department.

Since organization structure helps in maintaining co-ordination, it improves the efficiency of the department and help to reach out the common goal of the organization which is success of its product/ service.

Further, an organized organization structure improves the marketability by earning a good reputation and having a positive impact on the customers.
