How much has your Spiritual understanding been changed since you came to R&S?
Asked By Just Be,Last Answer By solarius At 2011.02,1 Answers

I've been here 3 years now & have gone back reviewing some of my first Q&A as well as the best answers I chose.
If you have been here multiple years have you ever done this?
What was your reaction?
LOL!
I find that if I asked some of the same questions I did 2 or 3 years ago, on some I would have chosen a different best answer, only because my understanding is now different.
I'm curious if you have had as many changes as I have over the years here.
I am awed by the gifts & the insights R&S has given me.
To each of you I am grateful.
Many Blessings!

Which is the HARDEST to OPEN, one's MIND, HEART or SOUL?
Asked By enki,Last Answer By autumlovr At 2009.12,1 Answers

If you've ever seen or known someone with Alzheimer's you'll understand my response to this question: When you no longer have your proper mind functioning . . . .you have no personality, you haven't a clue how you feel or how to express it, no memories and no communicative skills anymore either and therefore the spirit of life (or personality), the essence or individuality of that person is as blank as a piece of paper like their identity is being erased a little at a time.

I'd say in all honesty I might've responded differently to this question earlier on in my life, but I now say the mind is the hardest thing to open because I believe it is the seat of the soul, the collector of all that we truly are outside of blood & flesh & bone and so much deteriorating matter.
Our thoughts, our memories, our experiences, all we've learned and come to believe and how we live out what we know and have experienced, the choices we make, the decisions we make, our beliefs, our moral compass, our character, are all in our minds.
We also have a feeling mind, a reasoning mind, a critical thinking mind, an emotional mind, a creative mind, a destructive mind, an ego, etc., and all these parts of us operate in our mind.
Any wonder so many books have been written about the power of the mind. It is truly who we are as persons. Our bodies make us human. Our minds make us people expressing a spirit within us.

Revelation happens when that mind is enlightened and opens up to the power of the world inside and becomes aware of it's true nature, and uses its power and ability to change the world on the outiside to match it.
There can be no revelation for a mind that is closed off in fear and denial or is damaged.
But to open a mind is to change the world.

Is it possible to get into a relationship with a military man merely for benefits *not money mind you*...?
Asked By ws in spring fever,Last Answer By Javelin At 2010.04,1 Answers

if he has not been married and I have not been married, and we decide to get into an agreement of a contractual sort so that he has a woman who would never cheat while he's away, who writes daily, keep her promises, and in return he helps me travel to see as much of this world as I can see until my own military injuries nip that in the bud. does this sound obnoxious to put out an offer of this sort? marriage is a contract to begin with why not go into one with what YOU want to see put into it. right?
