envionment friendly pesticides

i have ants in my backyard and want to have fun getting rid of them. what are some fun ways to kill them? please be creative i dont want everyone to say fire

how do I find a carpenter ant nest?

My backyard has been taken over by fire ants. I have also seen several ant hills that have just regular little black ants. This is not good since my 4 year old is severely allergic to ants! I picked up 25lbs of Ortho Max fire ant granules last night & plan to treat our entire yard front & back today. My question is will this kill the black ants too or only the fire ants? I would like to think that anything that kills fire ants would take care of the little black ones, but I'm not sure if that's the case. Will I need a seperate treatment for those? I would just wait it out & see if they die but with my son being allergic I want to get ALL ants gone ASAP!

i've noticed since the weather has started to warm that there are ants coming into my house, i havent figured out from where but they seem to congregate in my sink, they ants are black and that's about all i can say about them, they don't travel to any other parts of my house just my kitchen sink. i saw some answers to natural ant removal so i will try them but i just want to make sure they are just regular ants and not carpenter ants

Does anyone know what is in the pesticides on our fruit and veg and what, if any, affect they can have on our bodies?

Tubs of fruit, eg Tesco, often state to wash before use, this is not always possible and when it is, does a quick rinse under the tap remove the chemicals anyway??

Seen recently in a project that can use ozone to remove pesticides and fertilizers, but I am worried that when the decomposition of ozone on pesticides will not generate other hazardous substances, in addition to the nutritional substance is also produced damage to it? Please understand that friends can tell one or two, to express my sincere thanks.

i want something strong enough to get rid of them the first time. also these are next to my neighbors veggie garden...do you think that the bugs are coming from there?

We are doing a school project and I missed a lesson due to a piano exam, in which I missed the main information which would allow us to do the test to a high standard. We need to mention the positives and negatives of Herbicides, Pesticides & Fertilizers, as well as what they do. I am in Year 8 (12-13; Key Stage 3). Please help!
