Ok, I went to an all-girl boarding school in England, but am american. I came home on summer holiday and such. But now I am living in a small toen in the midwest, going to a public school. How do I make friends? No body seems very friendly, and I'm not overly outgoing.

I don't have time for that type of crap in my life. I don't even like the friends that I DO have, much less any of these little hanger-ons that only want to be my friend because I am so beautiful and edgy.
How can I seem like more of a tool (like they are), so that they will stop bothering me?

I'm 14 years old and I am in 10th grade at my school. I have friends, I have a lot actually, but I can't help but always feel lonely. I have one really close friend who I tell everything to and I have other friends who I'm close to, but lately they've started to ignore me.. and I don't know why. Its not the same as it used to be and I've been quite unhappy with this for a while. I really wanna make new friends but I'm shy and everyone's in cliquey little groups. We have this really ugly uniform that is seriously strick and it effects my self confidence so much. I've also never had a boyfriend and it makes me feel like a loser.. I really want one. Sometimes I just really wanna move schools, I think I could meet some new and interesting friends who actually care about me, but I'm worried I won't make any new friends and be accepted. For one because I would be coming in half way through high school. I don't know, I would like some advice, should I stay or should I go?

Three of her classmates were playing and my daughter wanted to play too.
They said no, she couldnt. Just like that. No reason.
She came bawling to me because she was so hurt. They're 5-year-olds.
I told her not to worry.. that I'd play with her, or find her some other fun thing to do, but she kept crying saying she wanted to play with them.
What's the right thing to do in this situation?
