i have a sharp aquos lcd tv and i just got a dish hd reciever. we have a surround sound box in the entertainment system. how do i hook up the surround sound to the tv so i can get sound whenever i switch inputs for example, it works with the satalite but when i switch the imput to imput 4, for the wii, i still get the satalite sound?

I have a HD TV which has crackly speakers so I bought a set of virtual surround sound speakers. they have input for the red and white jacks/plugs only. Now I have a PS3 and i've tried every way to get the PS3 sound to the speakers instead of the TV.
Is there a box that i can plug the ps3 HDMI cable into and output hdmi to my tv and audio to the speakers?
Or is there another solution?

ok i couldnt edit my other question i have a kenwood 5.1 receiver and was wondering what can i buy to make it into 6.1 ,how can i do this without buying a new receiver

hi, i have recently purchased a samsung HT-TZ215 5.1 home cinema. i have wired all the speakers in and there all in place no problem. i have played a dvd through it and it works fine. now i cant wire it up so i get surround sound through my tv. i have a two scart ext inputs on my tv. i have scarted my sky into one and the amp with the surround sound in the other. now my sky doesn't work at all, no sound or video and the surround sound isnt playing anything either. is this because it doesn't work with my tv or am i doing something wrong.

after a while the sound comes a bit before or a bit after its supposed to so it doesnt match peoplea mouths moving...is there an adapter or something you need to fix this problem?

Hi, I am moving into a townhouse that is pre-wired for surround sound. My landlord is taking his speakers system with, so we were told we have to purchase speakers and a receiver. We have never used surround sound before, so what exactly to we need and where do we buy it? Because we are renting we really just want to get the cheapest/most basic speakers, etc. He is leaving the ceiling mounts, so do any speakers fit? He has five small cube speakers. Any help on what we need would be great. Thanks.
