you work in a very cliquey workplace, there is no bullying or nastiness,and you like yr job, have yr own life out of work, and dont need to be everyones friend, work is work, a few ppl do say hi,no bullying, you almost always say hi to ppl. You are quieter but almost always make some effort to say hi,make small talk, etc etc and are always nice.

This workplace is regarded as friendly, (mainly said by the ppl in the clique,) most ppl are very good friends socially,as in see each other outside work regularly,laugh and chat at work,which is annoying and hurtful at times, and exclude a small group of others simply but not by being nasty.

If you are in this excluded group Would you keep saying hello to these ppl every day at work, just to be professional? would you keep making small talk and being friendly, to keep things OK? how do u deal with these cliques? be polite and do yr work? u are glad u are not in them, u dont need all that, but it still hurts at times, most of them are younger than you, some yr age a few older.
The boss is in the clique but not as much.

ahh the joys of the workplace clique and the pan of dealing with them...

So the owner of the company, my boss, always takes his employees out for lunch when they first beggin workin . Well im about to make a year next week at my job & the boss has already taken me on 3 lunch dates which I found to be awkward, Well last week he takes me out on a lunch date & this time I was feeling very uncomfartable , he was talking about personal matters , asking me out on dates after work, asking me out for dinner , & asking me to go on vaca with him, he also tried to hold my hand as we were leavin but i snatched away den water spilled on me & i wiped myself & he came along took a napkin & continued to try cleaning my chest were the water spilled I told him IM GOOD! I feel so uncomfartable now is this sexual harrasement in the workplace what can i do? Im so uncomfortable i dunno wat to say or do :(
