I am 17 and my lower back hurts if I stand too long or if I sit without any back rest for long. What might the reason be for this? Please help ASAP. I am worried. I don't quite think I have scoliosis. The lower back pain increases when I am on my period.

I had blood work done at my doctors on Thursday. So how long should it take for the results to come back in from the lab?

I am a singer, I sing a lot. I am in several different choirs, help out whenever needed, sing some duets/cantors, etc. I also used to play guitar and recorder while singing sometimes, I've never actually played the piano or flute for something like concert/church/etc but I love to play and I'm so glad that I can at least still play the piano, though it's hard not to sing as I play. When I immobilized my finger I was so sad because I couldn't play my piano for a long time.

Anyways back to the main topic :) I got sick on Saturday, I had the worst soar, scratchy throat ever! It felt like my throat was bleeding! I had never had such a terrible, soar throat! I couldn't eat, drink, or swallow because burned and hurt sooo much when I did. Actually it even hurt to breathe, boy, did it hurt.

I was supposed to sing with a choir on Sunday but couldn't because I had no voice and still had an awful, soar throat, I could barely talk, no way I could sing loudly through a whole church, no way I could even talk through a whole church, even if I had a microphone. My soar throat felt a tiny bit better Sunday but still hurt a lot and I still could barely talk, and it still hurt to swallow.

Today is Monday, the soar throat itself feels better (still hurts a little but much better than it did) but I still have no voice, now my voice isn't cracky like it was it's just not there. You know how if you sing or yell a lot and eventually you actually "lose" your voice for a little bit? That's how I feel now.

I have to sing on Wednesday (no one else can) and I'm worried that I won't have my voice back by then.

So how long do you think until I get my full, complete voice back? Until I can sing again (I miss it already)? I have to sing this Wednesday, will I have it back by then? I'm very worried :-

To be more specific, I've applied for a temporary contract call for translators with DGT. The Selection Tests start Monday apparently but I haven't had word either way. Is that normal? I tried e-mailing but the functional mailbox was shut down when the deadline passed.

I want to bring my wife to the united states. I already file the i130 and the g325a and hopefully will send it tomorrow. I wanted to marry my wife by the church this December but it looks like i wont be able since i need to work hard this year and I cant travel to Mexico.

From what I have been inform the whole process will take from 9 to 12 months.
so after I bring my wife to the US how long does she need to be here before we go back to Mexico?

The reason is that we want to get marry in December 2012 in Mexico.

i heard your eyes become bad again after lasik surgery after just a few years because they adjust back. Is this true? and what are the other things about lasik i should know about? i also heard that your eyes become very dry.

Sometimes my cycles are 28 days, 31, 39, 41, even 45 sometimes, or I even miss a month. I have a period tracker on my iPod. It's usually been right. It says I have a 28 day cycle again. Is that possible? For it to just go back to normal?
If not, I would have a longer cycle, do people with long cycles ovulate 14 days after theirast period? Or 14 days before their upcoming period? Please help.
I've had my period for 3 years btw.
