I really admire the fact overcame a lot of odds in order to become Governor. She wasn't the best college student academically, and she even transferred around before getting a degree.
That really means a lot to me, because I'm not some straight-A Ivy League graduate myself, and I've had to work through college (and my grades aren't terrific either).
So I admire the fact that Mrs. Palin made it in life without having this big-name pedigreed college.

I'm wondering if there's any validity to the rumors that she's not the mother, but the grandmother, of the disabled baby? I'm leaning towards dismissing it as nonsense, but I can't find any pics of her pregnant, the thread about it at Sean Hannity's website has been removed, and I do find it hard to believe that a woman who's so ardently 'pro-life' would board an airplane while in labor, and was permitted to do so because she "wasn't showing" - her words. (I did find quotes and articles backing up this part of the story.)
Am I being an idiot in wondering about this, or might there be something to the story?
