i got him 2 weeks ago and i feed him 2-3 times a week. every time i pick him up or do something in his cage he bites me. Is that normal or am i doing something wrong?

I feed him in a separate tank and i feed him twice a week and i have had him for 3 weeks but he just keeps on biting me

I feel dumb for asking this for some reason. I'm looking into some reptiles and my brother just got a leopard gecko yesterday. So, now I want something. I thought of a corn snake. I want to be able to hold it every now and again. So, leads my to my original question: If it were to bite will it hurt??

10 Gallon tank ok?
Can I feed them fish(random)?
